Master Thesis

During my master’s thesis, I investigated colorectal cancer heterogeneity using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, uncovering cancer cell states like LGR5+ cancer stem cells, EMP1+ high-relapse cells, and proliferative states in distinct spatial niches. I also identified critical tumor-microenvironment interactions, including SPP1+ macrophages and FAP+ fibroblasts co-localizing near high-relapse cells, revealing a potential CCL15-CCR1 signaling circuit driving macrophage recruitment and tumor progression.
